Hyperlinks

Hyperlinks are used to provide links from the Wiki document to other documents, Web sites, etc.

Automatic

The simplest hyperlinks are created automatically when URLs and e-mail addresses are found in the Wiki text.

If you can't access http://www.logos.com/, send an e-mail to webmaster@logos.com.

Standard

Most hyperlinks are explicitly indicated in the Wiki text. Each hyperlink is delimited on the left by two left square brackets ([) and on the right by two right square brackets (]).

If the text between the brackets matches the title of another wiki document, the hyperlink becomes a link to that document.

[[Hyperlinks]] are often contained in [[paragraphs]].

Hyperlinks are often contained in paragraphs.

Targeted

To specify the target of the hyperlink, include two greater-than signs (>) with a space on either side. The text to the left of the greater-than signs is the text of the hyperlink; the text to the right of the greater-than signs is the target of the hyperlink.

The target of the hyperlink can be the title of a Wiki document or any valid URL that would be expected to work from a Web browser.

To target a specific heading or identifier in the target document, include the name of the heading or identifier after a #.
